Now, in order to use My Movies and it's online Webservice you must either Log In to your existing account or Create a new account - so let's see how incredibly easy that can be. Remember, if you don't have an account you cannot use the program - that's just the way it goes. Don't worry - it's free!
1- Open Collection Management
- From Windows, choose Start, All Programs, My Movies, Collection Management
- You can also drag this to the Frequently Used Section of the Start Menu to make it easier, or make a shortcut icon on your desktop
2- Webservice Log In Window
- If using the program for the 1st time, My Movies will create a new database for you or offer to do so - you should allow it to do this for you.
- You will also be greeted by New User Welcome Window
- If you need to find the menu manually, choose the Webservice Menu, Account Status
- If you have already created an account on the forums, simply enter the information into the Window and choose Log In
- If you must create a new account, choose Create Account
3- Creating A New Webservice Account
- Fill in the fields required (they are all required) and choose Create
- Follow any instructions that are given to you, after you choose Create
4- Check Your Account Status
- Now, choose Webservice, Account Status to see if you are logged in. If not, simply log in!
- If you can't see your account status, try the usual things - you know, close the windows, reopen them, restart the program
- Congratulations, you're ready to go!
- Your Account Status will look like the picture below, but with your Username, E-mail and Points listed.
